Lynette Brown
Has lived on the Kapiti Coast for 47 years, attending both primary and secondary school in the area.

Lynette has been actively involved in community organizations on the Coast for over 30 years. Most notably as an Asthma Educator with both Wellington and Kapiti Asthma Societies. A career change after some years of working for a large Pharmaceutical Company saw the conception of Kapiti Accounting & Taxation Service Ltd.

In the past she has run her own business as a contractor and owned rental properties therefore understands the importance of sound accounting services to support the running of small to medium businesses.
Stephen Brown

Is a professionally qualified, with over 35 years accounting experience. He also owns Porirua Taxation Service Ltd. Stephen has a past history as a company director of a large business and was General Manager of Big Save Furniture in the 1980’s.

Stephen has lived on the Kapiti Coast since 1964, except for a short period of working as a company accountant for an Importing / Exporting Company in Papua New Guinea.

An active member of Kapiti Asthma Society for over 20 years, Stephen was Treasurer and President of the society for many years. He has an active interest is in all aspects of business and community development in the Kapiti Region.

Stephen believes that many small to medium businesses do not have the time or expertise to met the accounting and taxation requirements of their business. He offers a comprehensive service ,speaks plain English that takes the mystery out of understanding both the requirements of Inland Revenue and how to read the company or personal tax return.

Stephen is a current member of the Taxation Institute of NZ.
